Our Take

A lightweight finishing pomade that adds shine and separation without any of the ingredients that standard pomades rely on — no petroleum, mineral oil, beeswax, lanolin, or silicones. The formula is primarily castor oil and plant-derived emollients, which means it smooths and shines without suffocating the curl. Useful in three ways: as a day-two crunch remover (scrunch through dry hair to break the cast from yesterday's gel), as an edge tamer with natural-looking hold, or as a small-amount finishing product to separate and define individual curl clumps. A little goes a very long way — start with a pea-sized amount. Protein-free.

How to Use

To remove 'crunch' if you have applied too much styling product, or to lubricate strands on 2nd day, apply to palms of hand and scrunch throughout hair when it is completely dry.
