Affiliate disclosure
Honesty about how this site makes money.
How affiliate links work
Some links on CurlCompare — on product pages, in comparisons, and in Learn guides — are affiliate links. If you click through and buy something, CurlCompare may earn a small commission from the retailer, through programmes including Awin and Amazon Associates. This costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.
Why this never influences what we recommend
Affiliate relationships have no say in which products get a good verdict. The same editorial standard that governs our Learn guides applies here: no brand can buy a better assessment, and whether a product earns us a commission has no bearing on whether we think it's right for your hair. We'd rather send you to a product with no affiliate link than one that's wrong for your curl pattern or porosity.
How to spot an affiliate link
Affiliate links mainly show up as "Buy now" and retailer buttons on product pages, in product comparisons, and in Learn guides. Clicking one takes you to the retailer's own site to complete your purchase — we never process payments or hold your card details ourselves.
