It adds detangling slip and moisture while leaving hair in an optimal state for a cream, gel, or oil-cream to grip onto. Reviews are mixed (3.8 stars on Ulta), suggesting it works brilliantly for some hair types and less so for others — low to normal porosity curlies with 2a–3b patterns seem to respond best. Worth sampling before purchasing full size; if your leave-in step consistently feels insufficient, this is designed to fill that gap.
