The clarifying product in the Scalp (blue) range, this is the shampoo to reach for when buildup from styling products, hard water minerals, or excess oils is making your curls limp, dull, or less responsive to moisture. The volcanic microbeads provide gentle physical exfoliation that lifts deposits the everyday shampoos leave behind. Use every four to five washes rather than as a daily cleanser — it's stronger than the Moisture or Frizz Control shampoos by design. CGM-modified status reflects that some clarifying surfactants fall outside strict CGM guidelines; for most curlies this is an occasional-use product and the tradeoff is worthwhile. Rated 4.7 stars on Ulta — one of the highest-rated products in the range.

How to Use
Wet your hair thoroughly, then dispense a generous blob of product, working it into your palms before applying directly to the scalp. Massage gently but vigorously to break down dirt, product build-up, and hard water minerals. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear. Repeat if necessary. Follow with your favourite Curlsmith conditioner. Use every 4-5 washes for a deep cleanse.
